Shen's taking over my mind everytime I try to draw a bird. But hey, he's sooooo kickbutt awesome that I'm not going to complain!
I always imagine Lord Shen sleeping with his beak tucked under a wing like most birds do. God, no matter what simple thing he's doing, Shen can always make it look majestic. I really do love that peacock so much....

I bet being a bird and wearing that robe is heavenly bliss.
If I turned into Shen, and fell asleep with those robes on, I would probably fall asleep in seconds, it looks that comfortable.
